Presentation of the Felicity Party

The Felicty Party was founded in summer 2001 after the closing of Virtue Party by the Constitutional Court.

The image above was drawn after the party website. The flag was adopted in August 2001. According to information found on that website, the crescent represents affection, national and spiritual values. The five stars represent felicity.

According to the photos found at the photo gallery of the Felicity Party website, the party also uses the flag with reversed colours (red charges on a white field). Both flags also have vertical variants.

Virtue Party

The Virtue Party (Fazilet Partisi, FP) was closed by the Constitutional Court in summer 2001, like the Refah Partisi before. Within a few days a new party, the Saadet Partisi was founded.

The flag of Virtue Party is red with a white crescent, a white heart in upper right corner and five parallel oblique white lines between the crescent and the heart.
This flag was shown on the party website, beside the Turkish national flag by which it is clearly inspired.
